Michael Fisher
Michael Fisher joined Young+Richards in 2019, he has enjoyed a varied career working in senior design roles for internationally recognised practices in London and Hong Kong and for his own practice in New Zealand.
Michael established his own design studio, Fisher Architects, undertaking high-end residential and commercial workplace commissions before merging this practice in 2006 with the very established Auckland practice of CPRW to form CPRW Fisher.
Michael led CPRW Fisher for 12 years providing the strategic design and overall project direction while also providing during this time specialist expertise in the design and management of a leading NZ banking institutions retail and commercial property portfolio. Hospitality projects including the refurbishment of the exclusive Vomo Resort in Fiji were also carried out. Michaels varied architectural and interiors projects have been recognised as winners of both national and international design awards.
Today at Young+Richards, Michael is a Senior Architect bringing his extensive experience to the design and documentation direction of teams on both high end residential, multi-unit residential and commercial projects. In addition, Michael is assisting the practice with refining documentation and specification systems, marketing, and business development.
