Harriet Pilkington

– Director – YOUNG+RICHARDS Limited

Harriet specialises in sustainable modular design and modern methods of construction. Building on sustainable building methodology experience obtained in Europe, her work is focused on providing environmentally sensitive commissions in the Pacific using modern construction technologies.

Harriet is a Director of Eunoia Ltd a design build company focussed on sustainable New Zealand baches.

Harriet is a Director of Worldwide Parking Group Ltd, specialists in sustainable modular precast concrete car parking buildings.

Harriet holds ongoing positions at the School of Architecture, University of Auckland and AUT University, Department of Spatial Design.

Harriet has been an invited judge at the New Zealand Timber Awards, NZIA local awards and the Solar Decathlon in Madrid Spain.

Prior to Returning to New Zealand, Harriet worked as project leader at CARR Design Ltd and at Denton Corker Marshall Architects (DCM) in Melbourne.
