Iona joined Young+Richards in 2013. Her organisational expertise and ability to work to multiple project programmes simultaneously allows her to oversee the teams in the studio, prepare detailed responses to requests for proposals, and maintain the financial health of the firm.

Iona has a background in property management of commercial office, retail and residential buildings of large corporates in USA and New Zealand. She has had the opportunity to work with and for a broad range of clients in New Zealand and overseas. These interactions with clients and the teamwork necessary to achieve consistently positive outcomes for Young+Richards.

Today at Young+Richards Iona enjoys assisting in the development and implantation of design-delivery systems. Under her guidance she has led several complicated projects through delivery with solution-based methods.

The business of architecture is a challenge that Iona excels at. Her key skills are highlighted by her ability to put people with people to deliver projects efficiently.
