Mat Wilson

Mat Wilson is a highly experienced architectural professional with more than twenty years’ experience leading major projects across New Zealand.

His career spans large-scale mixed-use, commercial, residential and industrial architecture, together with significant masterplanning and urban development work. He has led projects through every stage, from early feasibility and site strategy to design, documentation and construction, coordinating large consultant teams, multiple stakeholders, infrastructure requirements and complex consenting processes.

Mat brings a strong understanding of the commercial, planning, design and technical considerations that influence successful development. His strength lies in resolving competing demands while maintaining design quality, technical rigour, buildability and commercial value.

As Hawke’s Bay Regional Manager, Mat provides senior leadership across project strategy, design development, coordination and delivery, guiding projects from initial vision through to completion.

Qualifications

-Bachelor of Architecture (1st Class Honours), Victoria University of Wellington

-Bachelor of Design, Spatial Design, Christchurch Polytechnic Institute of Technology
