The Cambridge Stud Hospitality Pavilion was designed to provide a premium destination for owners, guests and visitors within one of New Zealand's most recognised thoroughbred breeding operations. The project combines hospitality, workplace and visitor facilities within a contemporary rural architectural setting.
The design responds to the character of the surrounding stud through a restrained material palette, generous proportions and carefully framed views across the landscape. Hospitality spaces, offices and visitor amenities are integrated to support both day-to-day operations and major equine events while providing a refined experience for guests.
Durability, functionality and architectural quality were considered equally throughout the project. Natural materials, generous glazing and strong connections to the surrounding paddocks create spaces that feel grounded within their rural context while expressing the quality associated with the Cambridge Stud brand.
