Fields Café by OKLA was conceived as a contemporary hospitality destination designed to sit lightly within a site undergoing staged development. Rather than creating a permanent building that could limit future growth, the café was developed as a modular structure capable of relocation, adaptation and reuse.
The architecture combines refined proportions, warm natural materials and carefully detailed façades to create a welcoming destination that feels permanent despite its temporary nature. Generous glazing, sheltered outdoor spaces and a restrained material palette establish a strong relationship between the café and its surrounding landscape.
Designed with flexibility at its core, the project demonstrates how modular construction can deliver high-quality commercial architecture while responding to changing site requirements and future masterplanning opportunities.
Fields Café reflects Young+Richards' commitment to creating architecture that is both practical and enduring, balancing commercial functionality, sustainability and architectural quality.
